ENT/PLASTIC SURGERY Office located in downtown Chicago has an opening for a full-time or part-time medical assistant. We are looking for someone with at least one year of medical experience who is a self-starter, highly motivated, reliable, has good communication skills and attention to detail, and projects professionalism. We are willing to train the right person. Pay is competitive and based on experience.
Pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing, nursing students, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Take medical histories
Keep the flow of the office running smoothly
Learn to assist the physician with in-office procedures
Answer phones, scheduling appts and surgeries
Obtain pre-authorizations from insurance companies
Check-in and check-out patients at the front desk

Salary: $21.00 per hour
