Looking for fast learners and folks that have experience canvassing in politics or sales. This is canvassing door to door in 4 hour shifts in the Schaumburg and Rolling Meadows Areas. If you plan on doing full time split shifts will happen of 3-4 hours in the morning and 3-4 in the afternoon.
As a canvasser, you'll be responsible for communicating a winning message to voters, and educating them on the issues, door to door. As you campaign , you'll be expected to master the art of first impressions and public speaking. Opportunities are flexible for the right candidates. We will train you and expect anywhere from 12-40 hours a week with an expected door rate of at least 20-25 per hour, walking, biking, or driving from door to door is acceptable. Pay is weekly.
Availability to work is 7 days a week with flexible hours. Ideal candidate should be self-motivated and able to work alone in new environments. This will be in neighborhoods using voter data, you will know their names and basic information you will not be at events or grocery stores. This is purely for data collection and conversations, you will not be selling anything or asking for donations.
Professional "appropriate casual" and demeanor are a must.

Pay is $18 - $25 depending on experience in the general workplace and in canvassing specifically.
