Corked Wine Bar and Restaurant is looking for reliable, hard-working servers as we kick off our Summer 2024!
We are a small, family-owned Wine Bar and Restaurant in the heart of historic Long Grove Illinois. We are proud to offer world-class wines and fresh, seasonal dishes. We have one of the best outdoor patios in Lake County — no joke! Dining at Corked is like taking a vacation in your own back yard.
Restaurant experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate, but a willingness to learn and ability to hustle are a must! Our patio is large and fast-paced, and our small team MUST work together to make it a success. We create a warm and supportive work environment — we work hard and take good care of each other.
Server responsibilities include:
— managing a 4-8 table section
— full knowledge and memorization of by-the-glass wines, cocktails, beers, and all food offerings
— taking orders, making and running drinks
— running food and bussing when staff is limited
— keeping up with running sidework throughout service
— assisting teammates when needed
— being reliable, showing up on time and with a clean appearance
