We are seeking a Lead Line Cook with Banquet food preperation experience to work on the line and assist with our in-house Banquet food preparation when necessary. There are two separate kitchens one for regular service and one for prep and Banquet menus.
Lead Line Cook Responsibilities:
Direct food preparation and collaborate with our Executive Chef executing Restaurant and Banquet food for guests.
Consistently produce high quality plates, including both design and taste.
Assists preparing food for events, inventory, and management of supplies.
Ensure that food is top quality, and that kitchen is in good condition.
Keep stations clean and comply with food safety standards.
Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance.
Assist Executive Chef schedule staff shifts based on your observations of their abilities / who works best together for team building and promote harmony in the workplace.
Assist in training new employees.
Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues to owners for resolution.
Take initiative to solve problems that arise, seize control to resolve them.
Lead Line Cook Qualifications:
