We are seeking servers/bartenders/food runners/bussers to join our team! If you have a passion for the food industry, have food & wine knowledge, able to multitask, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment & have a flexible schedule, including weekends, we want to hear from you!
Bartenders:
Preparing beverages for guests according to recipe, as well as serving food for guests that dine in the bar area.
Stock/restock appropriate areas of the bar with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies.
Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives and blenders.
Responsible for the security and reconciliation of the bar cash drawer.
Ability to recognize an intoxicated guest, refuse to over serve guests and seek out management with any concerns about a guest that appears intoxicated.
Accurately record and account for all items ordered, process payments, and account for and balance all sales/receipts in compliance with restaurant policies and procedures.
Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment, including the POS system.
Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
Successfully complete Illinois Basset certification program.
Other duties will be assigned as needed.
Servers/Waitstaff:
Providing efficient, friendly guest service to a 4-8 table section.
Following all steps of service and bussing the table to ensure a positive guest experience.
Accurately record and account for all items ordered.
Processing payments/Balancing all sales/receipts in compliance with restaurant policies and procedures.
Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests’ needs.
Understanding and following the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions.
Must have successfully completed Illinois BASSET Certification program. Servers will need to obtain Illinois Food Handler Certification once hired.
Prior experience as a food runner / busser is preferred.
Food Runners/Bussers:
Able to carry food orders from the first floor kitchen to the second floor dining room.
Must be available during the weekends - Friday / Saturday evenings; and Saturday / Sunday brunch.
