Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategic vision and development of our provider facing point of sale channels and tools for Synchrony. The existing provider/merchant digital point of sale channel is called Integrated Hosted Solution (IHS), a Synchrony hosted tool that integrates into clients and partner software ecosystems. The Product Manager role will own and be responsible for the success of the channel. They will own the strategic roadmap and associated epic/feature prioritization to advance the tools and capabilities, focused primarily on both ease of use and ease of integration.In this role you will be responsible for the prioritization of features across 3 dedicated agile teams, and also expected to partner with other product managers across the organization identifying and executing on key dependencies. You will be expected to partner with our business counterparts, and external partners, benchmarking the competition and ultimately working in concert with UX, Technology and the associated Product Owners to design, engineer, and support this critical platform.This role requires a proven leader with demonstrated ability to drive growth and change across large organizations with cross-functional support. An ideal candidate brings the ability to be an expert and advocate for our merchants and cardholders when representing their interests within Synchrony's supporting organizations and digital product teams. This role will require ideating on not what is, but what could be and then communicating and at times selling that vision across the organization.The ideal candidate will be adept at quickly understanding a variety of technologies, possess a strong Product Management background with a focus on digital payment products, merchant/provider experience, and have a proven track record of Go To Market product delivery.Our Way of WorkingWe're proud to offer you choice and flexibility. Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.Essential Responsibilities:

Own the user (provider/merchant) experience and work with team leadership to evolve and maintain the supporting point of sale for Synchrony merchants.

Align a cohesive strategy primarily within our Health & Wellness platform, but develop a comprehensive roadmap to extend this tool to our Home & Auto and Lifecycle platforms to realize synergies across Synchrony point of sale channels

Define and deliver product strategy, roadmap and ultimately prioritization of a new features in concert with complementary and dependent point of sale channels

Work directly with Product Marketing, IT, Analytics, Sales and business stakeholders to improve merchant experience

Deeply understand merchant and customer journeys and internal workflows to inform new opportunities to improve associated experiences

Voice-of-Customer feedback process aggregate feedback from clients, consumers and internal teams to form recommendations on future capabilities and services

Provide regular updates to Senior Leaders and partner with Marketing, and Commercialization teams to develop product marketing strategy and materials

Build a strong cross-functional network and foster close working relationships with internal stakeholders

Develop dashboard and metrics to communicate progress and channel performance

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 9+ years of product, sales or marketing experience in the credit card or financial services industries

5+ years Product Marketing or Product Management experience to include:

Proven project or program management experience in cross functional environment

Knowledge of journey mapping and customer profiling

Familiarity working in a SAFe Agile environment

Demonstrated influencing skills with Sr Leaders and cross functionally

Travel may be required up to 25%

Desired Characteristics:

Experience with financial services and specifically financing

Experience with point of sale product management

Demonstrated thought leadership coupled with strong communication skills and ability to help teams connect the dots on new ideas, processes and strategy

Ability to leverage technology to create new processes and drive efficiency gains

Demonstrated strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills at multiple levels of organization

Sales or Marketing experience in credit card networks, financial services, or healthcare industry

Grade/Level: 12The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.Eligibility Requirements:

You must be 18 years or older

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
