Pay: $29.00-$46.20 per booked hour (based on experience, certifications, training and production bonuses)Benefits:Company PAID Health Insurance & PensionCompany PAID ASE CertificationsCompany PAID Manufacturer Training & TravelCompany PAID Tool InsuranceCompetitive PTOCompany Provided Uniforms - Including Gloves401kAutomotive Parts & Vehicle Purchasing DiscountsAbility to work on your own and/or your family's vehicle after hours!The Used Car Technician will be responsible for the following:Perform thorough multi-point inspections of used vehicles, assessing mechanical, electrical, and safety systems to ensure they meet dealership and manufacturer standardsIdentify any worn or damaged parts, fluid leaks, or other issues that need repair or replacementDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues using diagnostic tools and equipmentRepair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions, and other systems, ensuring vehicles are restored to safe and operable conditionConduct routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake pad replacements, and fluid level checksEnsure all vehicles have had essential maintenance completed before being offered for saleTest drive vehicles after repairs or maintenance to verify the quality of work and ensure the vehicle performs properlyEnsure all repairs are done according to dealership and manufacturer standards and maintain high levels of quality controlMaintain accurate records of all work performed, including detailed repair orders, parts used, and any additional services recommendedParticipate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay current with evolving automotive technologies, diagnostics, and repair techniques
