Role: Systems Engineer CPQ Functional

Role Description: The

Systems Engineer CPQ Functional must have at least 5+ years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and configuration on Oracle CPQ/Big machines platform. You will apply programming and business analysis skills as a member of a team to configure and set up the products on CPQ system that drives the Quotes and Sales Order Life Cycle in the organization. You will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills and partner with the Business Analysts and different business groups to develop best practices on product configuration, Bills of Materials etc. and provide ongoing support on the current CPQ and integrated systems. In this role, you will provide support for complex projects, adhere to project timelines with technical deliverables and analyze/provide quality technical solutions that meet or exceed expectations. This position reports to the Director of IT.

Roles & Responsibilities: - Member of IT team responsible for configuration, set up, testing, and deployment activities for all products on the CPQ systems in the Enterprise. - Designs, configures the products, pricing, BoM etc. using the Big Machine toolkit - Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies - Documents system requirements, defines scope and objectives, perform Fit-Gap Analysis, evaluate System enhancement requests and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation - Function as a liaison between IT and users and have both business and technical expertise - Responsible for the functional specification, technical design, implementation and support of CPQ processes and Big Machines solutions - Manage product proprietary and confidential product pricing and configuration information - Provide application support including technical analysis and problem solving on Oracle CPQ and integrated applications with results and recommendations being documented and communicated across the teams including managers, team members, and business users - Analyze system requirements across all configurator systems and ERP system to support successful product launch cycles within the organization. - Ensures the right product launch framework is adhered to and evolve the processes to adopt industry standard best practices on system configuration for product launches. - Support other IT projects and business systems as needed assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company - Complete assigned projects in a timely and effective manner - Assist with documentation, user training and education support, industry best practices

Technology Experience: - Strong functional understanding of Oracle CPQ Cloud Processes including Sales Management, Sales Operations, Master Data Management, Order Management, etc. - Big Machines UI design experience & understanding of the core CPQ architecture - In depth knowledge in Product Configuration & Rules, Commerce Process, Document Engine and Pricing functionality of Oracle Big Machines CPQ Cloud - Hands-on experience in CPQ capabilities such as: o Product modeling, configuration, and rules (configure-to-order CTO, engineer-to-order ETO) o Guided configuration / guided selling o Pricing / discounting o Workflow / approvals o Quoting / document generation / e-signature o Quote to order conversion o Contracts / subscriptions - Experience/knowledge of BMI Configuration, Commerce Document Engine, Asset Based Ordering (ABO), Bill of Material (BOM) and Big Machines Language (BML) - Implementation experience in Oracle CPQ (BigMachines) on Quote-to-Cash, CRM, ERP integrations, etc. - Experience with web frameworks, web service technologies and application architectures (MVC, WSDL, REST, SOAP, JSON, HTTP/S, HTML/XHTML, XML/xslt, Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, AJAX, SAML, LDAP, etc.) - Experience working with Agile methodologies as well as Waterfall model

Required Skillsets: - Oracle CPQ Cloud Administration (profiles, security, roles for approvals etc.) - Oracle CPQ Cloud Configurators and Selectors setup - BML/BMQL - Oracle CPQ Cloud Pricing setup - Oracle CPQ Cloud Commerce setup - Oracle CPQ Cloud Doc Engine - Price list design, development and maintenance - Front-end technology like Java, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, React JS etc. - UI /UX design concepts

Optional Skillsets: - Exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, and working with PMOs - Experience working with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Visio, Project etc. - .NET experience could provide future project opportunities on integrated applications

Qualifications: - Four-year college diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience. - 5+ years of experience in set up and configuration of Product Configuration & Rules, Commerce Process, and pricing on Oracle CPQ platform. - Industry Certifications in Oracle CPQ. - Strong knowledge of configuration management, BoMs, UI design concepts.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
