Job DescriptionLocation: Chicago, ILHospital: Rush University Medical CenterDepartment: Enterprise Bus ApplicationsWork Type: Full Time (Total FTE between 0.9 and 1.0)Shift: Shift 1Work Schedule: 8 Hr (8:00:00 AM - 5:00:00 PM)Rush offers exceptional rewards and benefits learn more at our Rush benefits page .Summary:The Workday Finance Application Analyst will be responsible for the set up and configuration of at least one or more Workday functional areas inclusive of Foundation Data Model, Accounting, Spend Management, Revenue Management, Budgets, Expenses, Projects and Grants. This role will work directly with third parties and internal stakeholders leading and participating in design sessions to gather and document the functional and technical requirements within a product development framework. This role reports directly to the Workday Finance and Supply Chain Application Manager.This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business and technical disciplines and providing expertise in the development and execution of a comprehensive technical program for the Workday application.The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with multiple IT and business partnersResponsibilities: Participate in configuration design sessions for the development, implementation, configuration and testing of Workday Finance functional areas, processes, integrations, and reports. Provide subject matter expertise in the configuration, updates, and administration of end-to-end processes in the Workday application. Assist with the requirements gathering, development and testing of integrations and reports Develop Workday Finance Reports Maintain high level data quality and completeness for accurate Financial information. Analyze Workday implementation and product releases and provide input to the optimization and enhancement of new functionality. Translate business needs into technical requirements and configure solutions that align with organizational objectives. Provide education and assist with training team members and stakeholders and end-users regarding integration processes Stay informed about Workday updates and new features related to security and manage the implementation of necessary changes or improvements. Communicate and work directly with vendors and internal teams to gather configuration and reporting requirements Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
