Job DescriptionOne of our most reputable design / engineering clients is currently looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to the team in Chicago. As a Mechanical Engineer you will have the opportunity to apply your design expertise on exciting and challenging national and international projects. You will be working with some of the top engineers in the field, gaining additional expertise and building your reputation and career. You will have a chance to make a difference through designing energy efficient systems that set the standards for building system design.Your role:Performing complex mechanical building design on a variety of projects to include, but not limited to, buildings and facilities, including hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential and high-rise office, and other commercial and institutional projects.Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit softwareAssist teams in performing design load calculations, equipment selections and mechanical system designProviding credit documentation for LEED, and other building rating system design and complianceAssisting in the preparation of basis-of-design descriptions, responses to client comments and other project-related documentation.Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers.Reviewing submittals and providing responses to Requests for InformationPerforming other duties as assignedWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
