Reporting to the Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, the Senior Director/Assistant Secretary will oversee legal aspects of the Company’s executive and director compensation programs; engage directly with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors; and oversee the Company’s global subsidiary management program. This role involves leading various members of the CSG team, interacting with cross functional corporate teams including the Global Total Rewards and Global Finance teams, and supporting various McDonald’s enterprise-wide initiatives.In this role, you will:Collaborate with the Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, as well as other senior leaders.Engage directly with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.Lead and influence the CSG team.Compensation:Lead all legal aspects of executive and director compensation mattersDraft and review materials for the Compensation Committee and serve as the Assistant Secretary who supports the CommitteeDraft and oversee compensation disclosures, including proxy disclosure (CD&A), Form 8-Ks and Section 16 filingsManage legal issues associated with the global equity compensation programAdvise on stock trading plans, insider trading issues and assist with management of insider trading policyAdvise on compensation-related shareholder proposalsCollaborate on ERISA-related mattersCorporate Governance and Subsidiary ManagementAssist with materials prepared for the Board and other Board CommitteesAdvise on a variety of corporate governance mattersOversee the company’s subsidiary management processBenefits eligible: Yes

The expected salary range for this role is $222k – $289k per year
