Job Title: Inventory ClerkJob DescriptionThe Inventory Management Clerk will be responsible for accurately monitoring and controlling inventory levels, as well as maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods. This role will contribute to the smooth operations of our inventory management system. Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained. Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders. Prepare and audit shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Assist in organizing and maintaining the storage areas, ensuring goods are stored in designated locations and in a manner that allows for easy accessibility. Generate and maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, transfers, and returns. Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile physical stock levels with system records. Identify and investigate discrepancies or stock variances, initiating corrective actions as necessary. Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and policies to improve accuracy and efficiency. Assist in annual physical inventory. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and compliance standards.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Chicago, Illinois.Work EnvironmentStandard distribution center with large warehouse for storage. Clean environment with multiple lines for products and forklift drivers moving throughout the facility. Team is about 20-30 within the warehouse and dress code is standard shirt and jeans with no holes, rips, or graphics.
