Bi-Lingual Legal Assistant / Paralegal (Personal Injury)

 Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery, and case management orders.Assist attorneys in scheduling and preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials, including sending out notices, hiring court reporters/videographers, etc.Obtain, organize, and maintain medical records, imaging, bills, and other materials for client cases.Electronically file legal documents in Illinois State CourtsCorrespond effectively with opposing counsel, experts, witnesses, and clients.Provide support during legal proceedings, including coordinating case schedules, and ensuring compliance with deadlines.Skills/attributes of successful applicants:Outstanding listening and communication skillsMust have litigation and Personal Injury experience including getting service, filing motions, calendaring court dates, and scheduling depositions.Ability to analyze facts and present to attorney for determinationFamiliarity with personal injury requiredCollaborative, positive attitude and respectfulDesire to learn and growJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 / $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8-hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
