Role Description: The

Appian Architect must have at least 05+ years of experience. As the Appian Architect, you will be the key member of the Information Technology team and will be responsible for driving technology innovation initiatives and provide technical consulting support. You will provide overall direction, guidance and definition of implementing and effectively supporting our client and Subsidiaries Business Strategies in the context of internal projects. You will interface across several business areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects (buy vs build). The Ideal candidate is expected to do hands-on Appian development when needed. You will act as a technology consultant and work with the technical teams and help with the execution of the solution. If you have a deep understanding and knowledge of process modeling, and can bring best practices, understand the business context, be pragmatic in a feasible solution, balance demand with multiple projects that require your support, and like to build blocks toward a more robust and scalable IT architecture, then we would like you considering joining our team!

Responsibilities: - Researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies - Planning and guiding large and/or complex projects - Conceive solutions, build consensus, and sell/execute solutions. - Prioritization of work to assure overall business objectives - Actively monitors new and emerging technologies, trends, practices, and solutions and assess their applicability to business initiatives and strategies - Collaborates with Product owners on translating business requirements and operational strategy into a long-term, executable solution plan and roadmap - Work with IT Leadership to keep solutions in alignment with the future IT roadmap. - Able to contribute to hands-on development and support, Proof of Concept and demos as needed. - Recommending new tools, methodologies, technologies, data and platforms. - Providing input on options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on other processes for buy vs. build decisions. - Analyze the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements such as expanding capacity, predictability, reducing time & cost, and increasing effectiveness.

Required Skills: - Be Resourceful/Creative finding solutions - Excellent planning and organizational skills - Ability to think big and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype - Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups - Strong project management skills - Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to take principled bets on new technology - Expertise with Enterprise Architecture concepts and practices - Forward-thinking; future state of IT mindset; driven by innovation. - Proven track record working/hiring with technical, off-shore/nearshore internal-external contractors - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience: - Five to ten years experience in a senior Architecture role in a mid-size to large enterprise, with a major focus on corporate applications - Experience in Agile, Appian RPA/BPM, Java, APIs - Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex solutions - Experience with public cloud platforms and application development platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, CGP, etc.) - Experience in Real Estate, Mortgage and Titles domain knowledge, a big plus - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels - Proven track record of successful team (on/off/near shore) leadership hiring and development

Qualifications: - BA/BS degree or a commensurate experience in a related position

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
