Need a childcare assistant for our home daycare program for immediate start! Positions are full time and or part time 20 -40 hours per week Monday through Friday. Daycare hours are from 7am - 6pm. Flexibility is needed. Candidate must love babies and be familiar with DCFS care requirements.
-Assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up
- Be able to share in the cooking and serving of breakfast, lunch and snack to all kids.
- Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed
- Supervise children during outdoor playtime and ensure their safety
- Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience working with children, such as babysitting or daycare experience
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to provide a caring and supportive environment for children
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to multitask and handle the demands of a busy daycare setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No experience necessary - we will train.
- Must speak English fluently

Candidate must meet all applicable DCFS licensing regulations such as have a high school diploma, be able to pass a physical and TB test, be able to obtain a CPR/First Aid certificate paid by daycare and attend yearly sponsored continuing education classes paid by employer.
