This is a job for delivering newspapers. Mainly you will be delivering Chicago Sun-Times, Tribune, Daily Southtown, and New York Times. Other days you will also be delivering Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Barrons, and STAR magazines. The biggest amount day of the week is Sunday. The other big amount days are Wednesday thru Friday. The small amount days are Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. There is no Southtowns on Saturday.
The main area you'll be delivering is a section of Chicago Heights and mainly Lynwood, IL. The warehouse you'll be picking up your papers is at 1125 175th Street in Homewood, IL. It's preferable if you live within this area but as long as you can handle the drive.
This is a driving job and you have to use your own vehicle. It has to be a reliable vehicle due to driving and carrying the load of papers. It's mostly driving but you have to get out of car at certain houses and locations to throw papers to the door.
The truck arrives at warehouse between 1 and 130 AM normally. So if you could arrive then or at latest 230 AM. The need to arrive early is because there are some deliveries that take place on a main road (Glenwood Dyer Rd and Joe Orr Road) that will have traffic if you are out late.
This is an EVERY DAY job. Mon thru Sun. If day off is needed, you need to inform as early as possible. But constant call offs or saying you can't do the job every day will result in termination.
