Responsibilities:
1. Establish and Develop Business Relationships: Visit brokerages and freight forwarding agents' offices to sign agreements and secure dedicated lanes for our trucking operations.
2. Business Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's client base and improve profitability.
3. Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between our company and our business partners.
4. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding new contracts, changes in existing contracts, and business development progress.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
2. Knowledge of the trucking and freight forwarding industry.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to travel as needed.
