Bilingual Custodial Services Manager
Shift: 1st shift, M-F
Direct Reports: 20
Salary: $65,000 Annual, Bonus Structure
Must be bilingual Spanish/ English
Train, supervise, and evaluate all full-time custodial staff, day porters and overnight supervisor.
Communicate effectively with university staff, providing service recommendations.
Conducts regular inspections of the campus to identify custodial needs.
Prepares evaluations of the custodial team
Plan, coordinate and execute daily, weekly monthly task and project schedules.
Responsible for the requisition and inventory of custodial equipment and supplies as well as maintenance of the equipment.
Coordinates daily custodial staff schedules, preparing for events and peak service times.
Coordinates with university for special events, summer winter and spring project schedule
Reports serious or ongoing maintenance and security problems to the university.
Minimum Qualifications
Basic Computer skills required: communicate effectively through email; experience working with Microsoft word
and excel.
Experience managing teams of 10+ people, including setting measurable goals, monitoring progress, and providing
feedback.
Minimum 3+ years supervising a team in educational facility.
Ability to establish and maintain a harmonious working relationship with other employees and university
departments.
Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Physically able to perform all tasks and lift at least 35 lbs.
Ability to pass a criminal background screening.
