Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering an opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist in Burr Ridge, Illinois. This role will primarily involve managing the company's accounts receivable processes, including B2B collections, overseeing billing and invoicing procedures, and managing credit and debit transactions. This role will be instrumental in maintaining our financial health and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting records.Responsibilities: Manage timely and effective collections on outstanding accounts receivable balances from B2B clients Handle credit and debit transactions, processing refunds and adjustments as necessary Generate accurate and timely invoices for clients, adhering to billing schedules and terms Reconcile discrepancies between invoices and payments, investigating and resolving any issues that arise Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize outstanding balances Collaborate with internal teams to address client inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies promptly Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and update accounting systems accordingly Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis related to accounts receivable as needed Stay informed about industry trends and regulations related to accounts receivable and credit management Provide support during audits and assist in implementing best practices for accounts receivable processesSkills: Proficiency in SAP Experience with B2B collections Knowledge of Billing Collection procedures Ability to handle High-Volume Invoicing Familiarity with Debit Credit operations Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) management Requirements Proficient in the usage of SAP software for business operations Experience in B2B collections, ensuring timely payments and maintaining client relationships Expertise in billing and billing collection, effectively managing accounts receivable Familiarity with high-volume invoicing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations Understanding of debit credit operations, maintaining the balance of accounts Proven skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring financial health of the company Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients Strong analytical skills for accurate financial reporting and decision-making Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all accounting tasks Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferable Relevant work experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
