Senior Cost Accountant

DescriptionA Robert Half client located in the western suburbs is immediately seeking a Senior Cost Accountant. The Senior Cost Accountant will report directly to the Head of Finance Operations. The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for cost & inventory accounting, reporting on manufacturing efficiencies & capital utilization, month end close, budgeting, forecasting, and more. The Senior Cost Accountant will also be responsible for communicating with other departments, cost management, variance analysis, and other projects as needed.To be successful in the role, the Senior Cost Accountant will need to be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Navision and / or Microsoft Dynamics NAV is highly preferred. The Senior Cost Accountant will also need 10 years of experience at a minimum. The Senior Cost Accountant must have manufacturing industry experience as well.
