Marklund is seeking a highly motivated and mission-centered individual for the position of Full-Time Occupational Therapist. This position is based out of our Bloomingdale facility. Responsibilities Include:
Provides and directs Occupational Therapy services to resident's and students including assessment, goals, treatment plans, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication.
Perform annual evaluation for IPP and IEP meetings
Performs duties as clinical instructor for potential OT students and supervises COTAs
Assists with aqua therapy and orthotics as needed
Provides training and in-services to staff and caregivers on occupational therapy related topics as needed
Adheres to applicable principles and practices of occupational therapy, Marklund policies and procedures and state regulations

Licensed/Registered Occupational Therapist in Illinois
Possess current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers
Valid Driver’s License
Experience with OT treatment, evaluations & IEP meetings required
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements
