As the assistant manager of the feedlot operation which consists of approximately 13,000 animals. Youll be working as a supervisor over the team of equipment operators and feeders (6+ total employees). You will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of all machinery on site. In addition, you will report to the Feedlot Manager to complete necessary projects as assigned. An associate's or bachelors degree in Animal Science is recommended or equivalent work experience of 3+yrs. Bilingual preferred. This is a position where we will train the assistant manager in our procedures and protocols. Ability to train and positively motivate employees is a must. Knowledge in DHI plus, Easy Feed Weights, Basic Lube/Oil tech a bonus. Background in animal health required. Please submit resume to apply
