General Purpose and Scope of Position:

The Customer Service Representative is a key member of the Rangen general feed and aquaculture transaction team. The role is key to the sales and marketing support function in that the individual is expected to provide superior service to our customers and suppliers.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

High School Diploma and 3-5 years related experience in customer service and clerical work

Strong MS Word and Excel experience

Proficient 10 key speed

Experience with a Tier 1 ERP, JDE experience preferred

Bi-lingual Spanish preferred

Experience in agriculture or aquaculture preferred

A high level of commitment and accountability in all areas of responsibility

Strong communication and interpersonal skills required for positive interactions between internal and external employees, customers, and suppliers

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to demonstrate and maintain professionalism in interactions with others is needed, including an ability to work with a high level of confidentiality

Ability to work and contribute independently and/or within a team on given assignments.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task to accomplish multiple assignments and meet deadlines

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

Responsible for all intake of orders for general feeds, aquaculture, and aqua mill

The main contact for miscellaneous inquires, referring customer calls to proper subject matter experts

Customer invoicing locally, out of state, and internationally

Effective and friendly correspondence with customers, suppliers, and employees daily

Telemarketing on an as-needed basis

Expediting customer deliveries, packing slips, and coordinate customer deliveries of fresh feed

Conduct transportation and production meetings on a regular basis

Produce daily work orders including adjustments, substitutions, and set-offs

Handle bill of lading and expediting transport to customers

Field all customer complaints and notify sales team member managing account

Assist with bid and contract finalization, adding freight rates, extra packaging, etc.

Pro-forma, bills of lading, and correspondence

Keep price list and customer list updated

Compensation and Benefits:
