Security/Badging Technician with clearance.The purpose of the Security and Badging Technician is to provide on-site support for the badging and physical access control systems (PACS) and provide biometric enrollment support for iris scan technology.Responsibilities
  • Will follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operating the U.S. Access Program and Physical Access Control (PACS) system.
  • Enrollment/Activation shall include but may not be limited to the following tasks
    • Query employee record by last name in biometric system software
    • Capture employee biometric data using biometric software and reader hardware
    • Activate credential using US Access Credentialing Unit
Qualifications
  • Experience with physical access control systems.
  • Experience with badging.
  • Must be knowledgeable in operating badging and PACS systems.

Clearance Required: Must have a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI); Top Secret clearance or DoE Q required prior to consideration.

Years of Relevant Experience Required: 0-2 years' related experience.
