- Develop, validate, and implement casting, hot rolling, solution heat treatment, along with stretching process models
- Utilize data mining and advanced analytics
- Develop, validate, and implement plate (for Aerospace applications)
- Design and complete lab + production scale in addition to analysis of experiment results
- Perform metallurgical and structural analysis
- Advanced Degree in Metallurgy, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineer, PhD preferred
- Previous Aluminum experience
- Skilled in FEA & CFD
- Excels with Abaqus, PROCAST, FLOW 3D, and/or other related tools
- Able to apply Continuous Improvement tools/methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
