Zachary Piper is seeking a Data Center Engineer in the Pocatello, Idaho area for a leading global technology organization. During the pandemic, the Data Center Engineer - Top Secret (TS) will work fully remote and will transition back into the office as health conditions are deemed safe. The Data Center Engineer - Top Secret (TS) must hold an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and will be sponsored for a TS/SCI or TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.
Responsibilities for the Data Center Engineer - Top Secret (TS) include: • Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage network activity for large enterprise customer data networks • Work closely with other engineers to support customer project requests • Provide high level technical expertise to support LAN and WAN • Offer recommendations for improving network and systems performance, efficiency, and security Requirements for the Data Center Engineer - Top Secret (TS) include: • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance • Over 5 years of systems and network administration/engineering experience • Deep understanding of key technologies and protocols in network and security including route switch protocols, configurations, specifically EIGRP, BGP and SD-WAN.
