- Plans and engineers Infrastructure services for Store upgrades and new store openings.
- Coordinates and monitors store opening/closing projects for IT including floor plan review, data/voice cabling, phone system installation, WAN connectivity, register and credit machine installation.
- Manages Carriers and Partners on the procurement of and support of Data Circuits and optimization of these services.
- Manages vendor relationships to include vendor reviews (QBRs) and overall business engagements
- Coordinates efforts on procurement of, implementation of and restoration of services in emergencies
- Provides phone support to end users to troubleshoot issues.
- Assists the internal helpdesk on second and third level support issues related to retail systems technology and repair requests.
- Provides vendor interface on new services, changes and/or deletes to existing data and structured cabling services.
- Works as part of a team on integration of acquisitions
- Coordinates and monitors various structured cabling or equipment upgrade projects with Real Estate Group, IT, vendors, and stores.
- Helps with the support of data network related to troubleshooting, additions, moves and changes.
- Provides on-site support for grand openings of stores, including but not limited to telecommunications, IP devices and network support.
- Sets standards for Retail IT Investments
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of vendor services for telecommunications and data services
- Working knowledge potential service problems and solutions related to structured cabling, data circuits, and other retail store systems such as registers and paging systems
- Demonstrated vendor management skills
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings
- Working knowledge of store and field operations
- Demonstrated customer services and organizational skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently or as a member of the team
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing

- Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, computer science or related field, or a combination of education and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- 3+ years of experience in structured cabling and telecommunications field
