Looking for folks who love van life, VWs, Sprinters, other overlanding vehicles and general outdoor culture. Someone who is friendly, mature and community oriented. Willing to multitask and deal with unique jobs or situations on the fly. Work varies from production, to installs, to repairs. Big pluses: woodworking and CAD experience, already own a van or have built camper vans. Every day is different and things rarely get boring.
Required: Clean driving record, valid license, own a vehicle of some sort. Willing to show up on time ready to work. Can be part time. Must be fit and able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and do various physically demanding jobs. Safety focused and conscientious. Detail oriented and takes pride in their work.
Entry level helper / quick learner
Responsibilities:
-basic installs and jobs
-following directions and asking questions if unsure of how to move forward
-lending a hand to others when needed
-cleaning and organizing the shop
-prepping jobs and laying out work
-detailing and finishing vehicles for pick up
-knows how to use basic power tools
-has a basic tool set
Experienced technician for electrical, plumbing, wood and mechanical work
Responsibilities:
-carrying out routine jobs start to finish with minor oversight
-detailed oriented, careful, and measured in their work
-focused on doing things right as well as efficiently
-knowledge of basic low and high voltage electrical, RV plumbing, woodworking, mechanical know how
-proficient on the computer and can understand 3d models, plans, and diagrams
-willing to ask for help when needed to prevent errors, but can figure out small issues themselves
-knows how to use basic and advanced power tools
Pay is TBD depending on experience, tool set, and knowledge.
About The Shop:
We build custom camper vehicles, parts, DIY kits, and products related to van life, overlanding, and off road vehicles.
We are willing to train and help those who have baseline knowledge, pay attention, and learn well.
Friendly, but focused atmosphere. Most of these vehicles are very expensive and mistakes can be costly and serious bodily injury can occur. Take the job seriously, but also have some fun.
