Firehole Ranch is a premier fly fishing ranch located in the Greater Yellowstone area offering incomparable access to world-class waters, gourmet western cuisine, historic lodge and private guest cabins. The Ranch is open only 15 weeks of the year and caters to 20 guests per week, offering detail-oriented service and consistency of excellence, which is the hallmark of the Ranch's reputation and what results in our high rate of guest satisfaction. Sustaining this standard of excellence and growing the Ranch requires team members who are hardworking, have a strong attention to detail, a positive can-do attitude, dynamic personality, enjoy people and are self-motivated. Guide Qualifications:
Own a vehicle capable of carrying 3 full grown adults.
Own a suitable float fishing drift boat or skiff.
Legally allowed to work in the United States.
Experienced in all aspects of fly fishing rivers, streams, spring creeks and lakes similar to those found in northern Idaho and western Montana, including fly fishing equipment, techniques, and entomology
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of fishing specific craft (e.g. drift boats, rafts, and outboard powered vessels).
Basic first aid and CPR required
Valid Montana Guide License
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Current vehicle Liability and Collision insurance policy
A positive, supportive team player
Excellent verbal communication skills
Physically fit, able to work long hours in the field
Experienced in guest services or group leadership preferred
Ability to follow FHR drug-free and tobacco free workplace policy
