Hi. I'm physically disabled in that my autoimmune system is going after me. I have heart, vision and other issues. My daughter is my primary caregiver who does the household chores, but I need someone to help with sponge bathing, massage, shaving, etc. It's through a company called Home Helpers. They pay $13/hour and it would be for 9 hours a week; three hours each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. She'll be starting college soon and I'll have more hours to offer then. Eventually I'll be looking for a live in caregiver. I'm looking for someone who is personable, not shy, doesn't have issues with personal space and birthday suits, has a sense of humor and isn't afraid to ask questions if there's something they need to know. I'm single, no diseases other than my genetic condition, and look healthy from the outside. I'd prefer someone who'd help me with my cardio issues and eventually help my get my heart back into the best shape possible (if the position becomes long term). I know the pay isn't great, so I'm willing to toss in some extra if you're willing to give the effort. The company also has need for more caregivers in the area, so I'm sure they could set you up with more clients if you want more hours.
Must be 18 years or older, be able to legally work in the USA, must have reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check (they look for elder/disabled abuse).
