Job Title: DATA ETL ENGINEER Location: Idaho, Boise
Full Time Positionss/H1Bs. DESCRIPTION We are seeking a technical expert responsible for analysis, design, development and implementation of our cloud-first ETL platform. Responsible for onboarding customer data from multiple data sources onto our platform and for designing and implementing data warehousing solution and loading processes. Prefer experience with Data Factory but if you are awesome at SSIS we can teach Data Factory pretty easily. Responsibilities: Design, build and operate cloud-first ETL platformShape cloud-first operational and analytic data and reporting environmentOnboard customer data from multiple different data sourcesDesign and implement data warehouse solutionsData Analysis to support business initiativesInfluence and create new designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale problems and systems.Service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning.Conduct periodic on call duties for DevOps related areas. Requirements Strong background with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Azure SQL ServerExperience designing and implementing data warehousesUnderstanding of full, differential and incremental data loading approachesSQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT)Microsoft Azure Data FactoryExposure to Microsoft Azure Databricks is a plusPower BI / Business Intelligence reporting tool experienceFamiliarity with cloud concepts including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS service tiers and private, public, and hybrid deployment modelsKnowledge of configuration management tools and source control (Azure Dev Ops, Git, TFS, etc.)Exceptional communication skills both written and oralStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Must have self-starting personality, unafraid to display initiative and innovation on the job.
