We're looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to help us create high-quality content for consumer electronics topics. In this role, you'll turn complex technical information into clear, concise documentation that supports both internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain technical content for topics related to consumer electronics.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and verify technical information.
Attend product meetings to stay up to date on new developments.
Research topics internally and externally to support content development
Assist with demonstrations and documentation of equipment repair processes.
Contribute to team-based projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Some experience with computers and electronics, especially in office automation
Some experience with computer hardware (i.e., building or replacing parts, ability to identify computer parts and their function)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong written communication and organizational skills
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into accessible content
Nice to Have:
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere, etc.)
Prior work with repair documentation for consumer electronics
Education:
College Degree in Communications/Writing or Equivalent Experience
Other Details:
No relocation is offered. This job is a hybrid, with about fifty percent of the work required in the office. Must be willing to work outside of regular business hours occasionally. Pay is hourly, and assignments are project-based. No benefits are offered.
