Stump Removal Specialist

Idaho, Boise, 83701 Boise USA
Aplica ya

We are seeking a motivated team player with excellent references and the desire to build skills, knowledge, experience, and provide excellent customer service. Someone who takes pride in their work with the goal to learn and continually grow both personally and professionally.

Stump Masters is a new company. We specialize in stump removal throughout the Treasure Valley. After running a successful commercial landscape maintenance company for 37 years, doing $1M in sales and fine tuning it to reach a 50% profit margin, I sought to start and develop a highly efficient, specialized company providing the very best service possible and designed to benefit all parties involved: Stump Masters, the employee, and of course, the customer.

We will monitor and track every aspect of our operations to continually improve, while determining the best equipment to use. This will give us solid data to put systems and procedures in place. Then it will be time to execute, replicate, and grow. There are several ancillary services we may offer in the future with possible expansion to different markets.

Employees are paid an hourly rate. I plan to implement a revenue share bonus program where you will earn a percentage of the revenue you generate as a skilled operator.

Overtime is paid. FT employees receive three (3) personal days per year (required by Federal law), six (6) paid vacation days, paid gym membership after 90 days, and one (1) week paid vacation after one (1) year of FT employment and, two (2) weeks of paid vacation after three (3) years of FT employment. Uniforms are provided and work boot reimbursement after 6 months of employment. After the company develops further, more benefits may be added.

Job requires working outdoors: in sun, heat, cold, and occasionally rain and/or snow.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate various power grinders, mini track loaders, chain saws, and other power equipment. Also raking and shoveling

- Assessing the work site for hazards, placing portable shields and mats to protect windows and other surfaces

- Securing grinders and other equipment for transportation

- Checking over trucks and equipment daily: adding fluids, greasing, and performing daily maintenance

- Ability to climb in and out of truck beds. Will need to frequently bend, kneel, push, pull, lift, etc. Able to frequently lift 40 lbs and up to (infrequently) 100lbs is a plus+

- Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE is provided)

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Skills:

- Communicate with customers and answer questions in a friendly professional manner

- Safely drive company trucks with trailers. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record to Stump Masters and our insurance company

- Learn to safely operate equipment such as stump cutters, chain saws, mini track loaders, and more. Some experience with machines is a plus+

- Speak, read, and write in english. Good spelling is plus+

- Pass Drug testing at time of hire and occasionally (and randomly) throughout employment

- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document activities and complete daily paperwork

If you take pride in your work, strive to be and do the best you can, have excellent references, are a team player, and are passionate about joining a team and company you can believe in, we encourage you to apply.
