As a Fiberglass/Paint Technician for shop operations, you will be required to carry out all aspects of fiberglass repair, gelcoat repair and paint responsibilities.
Applicant must have proficiency and training in all aspects of fiberglass repairs, including but not limited to:
- Working with poly and vinyl resins.
- Working with epoxy resins.
- Proficient in gelcoat repairs, matching, sanding and buffing.
- Proficient in building small molds and plugs.
- Working with Polyurethane paints.
- Certifications from accredited schools or Manufactures schools a plus but not required.
- Forklift driving and training is a plus but not required.
- Inventory control of the materials used for your job description.
- Keeping your work area clean and presentable daily.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in the marine industry.
High School Diploma or GED
Must have the proper tools to perform the trade
Possess a valid US drivers license.
Pay is DOE. Vacation after 90 days.
