Position: Control Panel Technician

Responsibilities:

Control Panel Assembly:

- Assemble electrical control panels based on engineering schematics and specifications.

- Wire components, install relays, switches, and circuit breakers.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

- Conduct functional testing of control panels.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to wiring, connections, and components.

- Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical challenges.

Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of panel assembly, modifications, and repairs.

- Create wiring diagrams and documentation for each panel.

Quality Assurance:

- Perform quality checks to ensure panels meet performance criteria.

- Inspect workmanship and adherence to standards.

Inventory Management:

- Manage inventory of panel components and materials.

- Coordinate with procurement for timely restocking.

Safety and Compliance:

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines.

- Adhere to industry regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Technical certification in electrical or electronics preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in control panel assembly.

- Familiarity with industrial automation components.

Skills:

- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to use hand and power tools.

- Basic knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
