The Idaho Lottery is looking for an outstanding Graphic Design Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be a part of a fun, fast-paced, innovative team and agency.
The Graphic Design Specialist will work on the leading edge of the lottery industry creating marketing materials and will participate in the coordination and implementation of a wide range of marketing communication and design projects.
This position reports to the Deputy Director of Marketing and will be responsible for the following duties:
Design, strategize and produce point-of-sale pieces for a variety of Lottery products.
Design informational flyers and brochures for interoffice distribution, distribution to the public and the retailers.
Coordinate, design, produce and distribute a retailer newsletter in conjunction with the public information specialist and the marketing department.
Provide design support for Idaho Lottery sales representatives by designing signs, news alerts and promotional pieces to increase sales.
Design and coordinate content for monitors located in retail locations.
Design, produce and distribute scratch card facings for reps to distribute to retailers
Assist in the development and design of new Scratch tickets
Design and develop Scratch game support sheets for ADA compliance
Create New Scratch Game info sheets for each game as it is launched
Design and produce signage and promotional support materials for Lottery events
Create signage and oversized checks for press events
Assist with various design tasks as determined by the Creative Services Director and Deputy Director for Marketing

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum (The required skills and qualifications needed to perform the job)
Intern/secondary level Graphic Design education
Good knowledge of promotion and marketing concepts
Good knowledge of computer graphic design techniques; graphic-art offset printing standards, techniques, and materials; design and desktop publishing software; typography or printing and bindery processes; and how the Website interacts with other sites on servers
Ability to finish projects in a timely manner
Must work in conjunction with outside sources as well as internal on projects
Experience conceptualizing ideas and translating into camera-ready copy via computer and traditional methods; creating design proofs for customers to approve; perform press checks
Must successfully pass criminal, credit, and public records background checks conducted by the Idaho Lottery
Must have a valid drivers’ license
This is a full-time position and is located in Idaho Lottery Headquarters in Boise, Idaho.
