Larson Guth Construction, a civil contractor specializing in sitework, is seeking a highly experienced Pipe Foreman to oversee a pipe laying crew in Meridian, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, extensive experience in pipe laying, and proven leadership skills to effectively manage and coordinate crew activities.
Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate the activities of pipe laying crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
-Provide guidance and training to crew members on proper pipe laying techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
-Manage and schedule crew assignments, equipment usage, and material deliveries to meet project deadlines.
-Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality standards are maintained and safety regulations are followed.
-Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other team members to address any issues or changes in project plans.
-Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and crew hours for reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
-Valid driver's license required.
-Ability to pass a drug test.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
-Extensive knowledge of pipe laying techniques, materials, and equipment.
-Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse crew.
-Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
