HOVERCRAFT APPRENTICE

Idaho, Boise

WHAT WE DO

HRT [Hovercraft Rescue and Transport] will be the sole manufacturers of RESCUE hovercrafts. There are no competing manufacturers for this type of machine. In the first year, it will be a lot of hard work, spine tingling adventure, small paycheck, a high learning curve, and rough living conditions. Recurring floods from climate change make this machine a critical component of rescue operations.

Multiple contracts are expected in 2025 from national advertising, directed contacts, as well as sales to the Brazilian Government. Revenue can also be expected from existing hovercraft sales.

So in this job you really want to be the leader in world hovercrafts and rescue-transport.

This is a chance to be an executive in an innovative company (like Tesla or Boston Dynamics) with ultimately millions in revenue. Anything less than complete commitment to this goal, will be grounds for working elsewhere.

You will enhance and propel the company forward with your labor and ideas, or not. There is no room for anything other than full speed forward.

HRT welcomes any enthusiastic person of any gender between 16 and 80. Our shop is 1600 sq feet and full of tools. An overhead apartment of 800 ft sq. The shop is located in the Owyhee desert, 50 miles from Boise Idaho. A 40 min drive to town. We test hovercrafts on the Snake River.

Please send a letter and a resume' through email. Say why you want to do this, rather than make cars or bridges or anything else. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Charlie Beyer CEO - HRT

CONTACT

This is a start-up (started more than half way) without a paycheck for a while. Team members must be committed to success and able to get by for some months before money comes in the door. Some income in the first months will be from sales, operation, or tourism.

Skills that are needed, by an apprentice, are construction, marketing and acquisition. Construction has many aspects, so an applicant should have some mechanical aptitude and desire to create machinery. The applicant should want to be a part of a greater industry full of excitement.

This is for people who want to build "sweat equity, or bootstrap" their way into a new industry. If that's you please apply.

Apply by contacting

Charlie Beyer (CEO) at:

This craigs list return mail WITH your regular email addy

DO NOT ASK HRT TO CALL YOU. Make contact through email with a letter and resume'. We will talk on the phone if your application is considered.

Email a letter of interest along with a resume' that mentions where you have worked and gone to school.

Applicants should be able to write and respond to email questions within 12 hours.

Applicants need to have email to communicate. NOT craigslist, google chat, not FB message, no Wassapp, not the phone. The applicant must be articulate for a few emails before phone contact.

One liners and lazy communication is not accepted. If you are an I-phone junkie, look elsewhere. No phones will be on the jobsite during working hours.

But more importantly Tell me about the projects you have done on your own, invented, made to happen, and the projects and dreams you have. If you just want a paycheck this is not for you. For Now.

If you want to make this your own business and grow it into a world class provider of hovercrafts then this IS for you.

REMUNERATION

Living and working conditions will be rough in the first months unless an outside sponsor is found right away. In the meantime this is a bootstrap program with a high learning curve. Everything from aluminum welding to hovercraft operation. The apprentice will be taught by a senior Charlie Beyer and will have to cohabitate in the apartment for the first month. HRT will provide indoor shared apartment living quarters and in the first month a separate trailer.

March 15th is the intended date to start fixing and flying hovers.

There is a Shared kitchen and refrigeration. The bathroom is a new outhouse and there is an indoor hot shower. The apprentice can eat all the non perishable and canned food on site (approx one ton). Power, internet, rides to town, and evening movies will also be provided.

HRT and the apprentice will repair, up-grade, detail, and test 3 hovercrafts to begin with, making them seaworthy and saleable. We will demonstrate publically where possible. Before a sponsor or client is obtained, work will be compensated for at $15/Hr DEFERRED and accounted for, to be paid at a future date,or applied to equity in the business.

Next we will prepare to build the Rescue hovercraft, setting up a jig, and finalizing building contracts. Once finances are in hand, or a hovercraft sells, we will acquire supplies and commence building.

The apprentice will be remunerated by the percentage of hours gone into the item sold or service rendered. Some hovercrafts will be sold as soon as possible.

The apprentice will be paid their percentage based on the hours or days of involvement. It is intended to sell at least one new Rescue hovercraft in the first year (2025). Construction would be around 600 hours, of which half would be apprentice wages. So 300$20/hr = $6000 or around $3000 a month.

An ongoing marketing push for a sponsor will seek $20/hr wages for all HRT employees, on an ongoing basis. Also operating expenses and construction capital.
