Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced irrigation technician with a minimum of three years of commercial irrigation experience. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of irrigation systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience with two-wire systems is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting irrigation work efficiently, safely, and with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
Minimum of three years of commercial irrigation experience
Thoroughly familiar with all aspects of irrigation systems to include wiring controllers and valves, pressure testing, installing heads, rotors, valves, main and lateral lines, drip line, bubblers, etc. Experience and knowledge of two wire systems a plus!
Certification as an irrigation technician (CIT) is desirable.
Professional and courteous communication skills to team and customers.
Ability to work independently and meet or exceed company production standards.
Competency in updating customer management systems (Jobber) with job details, job completion times, photos and any follow up work to be scheduled.
Ability to order correct materials.
Valid driver’s license and insurability on the company’s insurance policy.
Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
Fluency in English (bilingual in Spanish is a plus)
High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities:
Conducting irrigation service checks and performing repairs.
Ensuring jobs are completed in a safe manner, on time and within budget.
Identifying and capitalizing on additional sales opportunities.
Staying organized to be able to record job details in client management system accurately and in a timely manner.
Leadership mentality and ability to keep jobs on schedule and within budget.
Ability to identify additional sales opportunities.
Maintaining a clean and organized crew truck.
