In need of experienced farm equipment operator for large alfalfa operation. We need swather operators, hay rakes, large 4x4 balers and a Stinger 6500 stacker and possibly a John Deere sprayer. This is a farm job, so the hours can be long, days off limited and farm jobs are exempt from paying overtime. If you are experienced farm equipment operator, you know this. We have newer, very well maintained equipment. 4 new Fendt's and the rest are John Deere. You will be responsible for fueling/Def your tractor, greasing your equipment and keeping it clean. Minor repairs will be required such as shear bolts, changing swather knives, changing turtles, pickup teeth, change hydraulic hoses, possibly tires on rakes etc
I am not going to tell you that this is a fun job or that it is rewarding job because it is a farm job. If you enjoy working on a farm, give us a chance, you may enjoy it here.
