We are looking for a hardworking individual to manage around 200 acres of farmland for alfalfa and wheat crops.
Responsibilities:
Execute the planting, cultivating, harvesting, and storing of crops.
Monitor and maintain irrigation throughout the growing season.
Operate and maintain wheel lines and pivots for irrigation of crops.
Continually inspect fields and advise the owner on problems, issues and schedules.
Managing planting and harvesting operations.
Regularly inspect and maintain equipment.
Assist with other tasks around the farm as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous farming experience.
Ability to operate and maintain equipment is required.
Equipment is provided and this position may be involved in the sourcing & purchasing of additional equipment if needed.
Time commitment will vary based on task and season. Seasonal - time sensitive work, with a heavier workload when the crop milestones require it.
