Company: Advanced Sign LLC representing the Advanced Sign, Woodland Manufacturing and CraftCuts brands

Location: Meridian, Idaho

Employee Type: Full-time permanent

Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week

Base Pay: (depends on experience)

Required Experience: Prior related human resources, payroll, and HRIS software administration

We are seeking highly motivated candidates that possess the following attributes:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management and similar computer applications

Willing to maintain confidentiality and handle all duties accurately and efficiently

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Benefits administration

Employee relations

Recruiting and staffing logistics

Onboarding and offboarding

Processing required documents and updates through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions

Answering employee and applicant questions in regard to all human resources related topics

Coordinating and documenting employee reviews

Performance management and improvement tracking systems

Completion and accuracy of all personnel files

Developing HR policies and procedures and updating employee handbook

Annual insurance renewals and audits

Management of annual open enrollment

Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records

Process monthly benefits invoices, resolving discrepancies and accounting for new hires and terminations

Mediate employee conflicts

Coach and guide managers and supervisors on employee relations issues

Administer the Safety/Workers Compensation/Return to Work and Leave Programs

Document and assist with safety meetings, trainings and incidents

Handle unemployment claims and employment verifications

Prepare government reports related to compliance or other HR functions

Maintain and update employee policies and resources in company Intranet

Administer COBRA benefit

Write detailed job descriptions

Stay advised of Covid-19 related compliance and summarize information to company president

Keep educated on employment law and make recommendations to company president to stay compliant and make continual improvements

Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and other events

Review and recommend ways to improve other company processes and procedures

Participate in special projects or assignments as requested
