We are seeking an experienced, fine dining, scratch kitchen, Sous Chef to join our culinary team. We take pride in being a top-rated fine dining restaurant in addition to being a premier event venue.
The right candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, fostering a positive and respectful work environment, ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation. This position requires proven leadership abilities, culinary expertise in a multi-cuisine setting, and a commitment to excellence in food service.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in event planning and execution, ensuring offerings are innovative while maintaining the authenticity of our continental recipes.
Support coworkers, providing training and feedback to enhance their cooking skills and efficiency.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and food safety standards are met.
Help cook and prepare meals according to established recipes while maintaining consistency in flavor and presentation.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
MINIMUM qualifications:
3 years of advanced cooking techniques, various cuisine knowledge in a fine dining/event venue setting
Excellent communication and emphasis on teamwork
Proven culinary leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices, allergens, and food management principles.
Excellent skills in food preparation techniques, ensuring consistency and quality of our recipes.

Shift availability: Tues-Sat Night Shift (Required) Sundays and Mondays off
