The Curb Bar & Grill in Meridian has been doing mobile bars for 14 years. We have a steady stream of events and also own a wedding venue (that uses our mobile bar for all events). The Curb is looking for 2-3 catering bartenders to join our team. This job tends to be very lucrative (tip wise) as we tend to bartend large events like weddings. We treat our staff with respect and strive to make our work enjoyable even during times of stress.
The basic duties and requirements are but not limited to:
- Bartending experience (full bar)
- TIPS trained which is a class similar to serv safe but for alcohol. This can be taken online in a couple of hours.
- Able to honestly handle cash and collect payments
- Point of sale technology experience
- Set up and break down bars and catering vehicles with organization and cleanliness
- Be able to lift upwards of 50 pounds
- Must be able to work weekends and nights
- Show respect to coworkers, leadership, and ownership
- Valid drivers license
- NO theft history

The pay is $8 an hour plus tips at event. No drinking on the job! However, people over 21 can enjoy a shifter at the restaurant if event is over before close of The Curb. You will also get employee discounts at The Curb.
