In this role, you will be responsible for assuring that suppliers and subcontractors conform to project specifications, contract requirements, and supplier quality programs via supplier documentation review and supplier surveillances. You will assist and oversee suppliers and subcontractors to prevent quality issues and develop/monitor corrective actions when quality issues arise. Review/approve supplier submittals and address client comments. Manage and assist suppliers.
Complete commercial grade acceptance packages.
Generate/monitor/close out quality issue reports related to suppliers.
Interface with procurement to ensure appropriate flow-down requirements are incorporated into procurement documents.
Monitor supplier activities and documentation to ensure adherence to procurement document requirements.
Assist in performance of supplier audits/surveillances/commercial grade surveys at supplier facilities.
Maintain a high level of understanding of company standards and guidelines.Coordinating with projects to plan and execute supplier activities.
Ensuring ongoing conformance to Quality Assurance Program requirements, standards, and practices.
Collaborating with Engineering and procurement teams to ensure requirements are integrated into project plans and supplier agreements.
Training and guiding suppliers on CGD requirements and Quality expectations.
Qualifications
Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%.
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related technical discipline field or relevant supplier quality experience.
1-year nuclear experience is preferred.
Supplier audit, surveillance, or commercial grade survey experience preferred.
Ability to understand and evaluate supplier-generated documents such as Inspection and Test Plans, test reports, shop drawings, supplier procedures, and project specifications.
Working knowledge for the implementation of Commercial Grade Dedication for materials, equipment, and services is preferred.
Knowledge of industry standards of quality, such as NQA-1, ISO-9001, Six Sigma, and/or US NRC Reg Guides is preferred.
Proficient in various problem solving and causal analysis techniques.
Working knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures relating to construction activities is preferred
