Witnesses are needed when individuals sign a Last Will and Testament or a Power of Attorney. As a witness, you will observe the individual sign the legal document and then sign the document as a witness. No legal training is required as the entire process is supervised by an attorney.
Witnesses should show up at the time and date scheduled with government-issued identification. The location has public bus access nearby. The act of witnessing only takes a few minutes. Compensation is only tips provided by the client who is signing.
