Job Summary:Contributes to data processes and maintenance for entry, maintenance, reconciliation, and ensuring accuracy. Contributes to data abstraction by capturing administrative and clinical data elements, reviewing medical records, transferring data, and leveraging electronic health cards. Performs data processing to include cleaning, organizing, and data adjustments, as well as coordinating with the team to reconcile and correct any discrepancies. Completes data reports for internal and external reporting and resolves reporting issues as needed.Essential Responsibilities:

Supports overall data process and maintenance by: assisting with data organization and entering of data; reviewing accuracy of information as assigned; and responding to standard and routine requests for data within the team.

Contributes to data abstraction by: capturing standard and routine administrative and clinical data elements, such as patient data; reviewing standard and routine medical records to identify the data required for secondary use; updating content based on regulatory requirements with the team or as directed (e.g., metric changes); contributing to information from electronic health records and uploading for use and reduction of abstraction needs; and transferring data as needed in collaboration with the team.

Supports or leverages data processing by: performing data adjustments for specific data; conducting routine data uploads; maintaining records of verified adjustments for specified data; and reconciling common discrepancies in data and escalating issues to a team member as needed.

Education

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Health Care, Information Systems, Human Resources, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or a directly related field OR Minimum three (3) years of experience in health care data analysis, relational database management, business process improvement, training delivery, clinical research or a directly related field.

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
