PinkLimoKona is seeking an enthusiastic and charismatic individual to join our team as the Lead Limousine Driver and Vehicle Maintenance Specialist. This key role combines the responsibilities of leading our driving team with maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our fleet.
Position Overview:
As the Lead Driver, you will have the first right of refusal on all bookings, ensuring you are at the forefront of our client services. You will be responsible for keeping our limousines impeccably clean inside and out, including maintaining tires and rims, and ensuring all necessary supplies such as motor oil, cleaning products, and other essentials are always stocked and organized in our small warehouse.
We are looking for someone who embodies our belief that “It is not just a ride but an experience!” Our ideal candidate has a fun-loving, charismatic personality, is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
You will need to be flexible and comfortable interacting with a variety of people, including hotel concierges and upper management. Knowledge of the history and natural beauty of the Big Island is a significant plus, as we aim to provide a memorable experience for our guests. A professional appearance and adherence to our dress code are essential, as we often decorate our limos for special events.
This is a management-level, part-time, contract position. A clean driving record is mandatory.
Position Details:
Part-time, contract
Approximately 10 hours per week, with the possibility of more
$40 per hour plus tips while driving, $30 per hour for administrative tasks
Responsibilities:
Safely transport clients to and from their destinations
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the limousines, both inside and out
Keep the vehicle stocked with necessary supplies and ensure they are organized in the warehouse
Familiarize yourself with the limousine's features, including the intercom system, climate control, divider, lighting, music system, and bar
Provide a thorough orientation to clients on the limousine's features before departure
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards clients and co-workers at all times
Lift heavy objects, such as suitcases, when necessary
Qualifications:
Clean driving record
Excellent customer service skills and a positive, engaging attitude
Professional appearance and willingness to adhere to a dress code
Knowledge of the Big Island's local area, history, and natural attractions is highly beneficial
Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for various events
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be at least 21 years old
Additional Requirements:
Attendance at our mandatory driver training class
Drivers will be provided with a company-owned limousine to use during their shifts
