Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. We primary deliver and install high end furniture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage routes efficiently. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service. Drivers will be expected to carry oversized furniture into the clients home, assemble and place in the clients room of choice. Must be able able to carry heavy items.
Duties
Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling of items.
Operate a box truck or van, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Navigate assigned routes efficiently, delivering packages in a timely manner.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
Handle any issues or delays that may arise during the delivery process professionally.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts.
Assist with moving items as needed, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience in route driving or commercial driving preferred.
Familiarity with operating box trucks, vans, or other delivery vehicles.
Ability to operate a forklift is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy packages.
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
Pay starts at $20hr for delivery helpers, $22hr for Driver/helpers and $28hr+ for drivers with a CDL. Pay based on experience.
Would prefer drivers willing to work 4 10hr shifts per week from 7-5 with at least 1 Saturday per month. Overtime paid after 40hrs.
Bonuses paid monthly for drivers with exceptional service ratings.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
