HVAC Helper Installer
The HVAC Helper Installer is responsible for assisting the AC Service Technician / Installer with the installation, maintenance, and repair of Mitsubishi split air-conditioning equipment and related systems. This is an entry-level role perfect for those eager to gain hands-on experience and develop a career in the HVAC and renewable energy industries. The ideal candidate is motivated, a quick learner, and a team player aligned with our core values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction and guidance of the AC Service Technician / Installer, the HVAC Helper Installer will perform tasks such as:
Assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units.
Handling tools, materials, and supplies to support the technician.
Helping with ventilation equipment adjustments and monitoring controls for continuous, efficient operation.
Learning to diagnose basic electrical and mechanical issues.
Cleaning and preparing areas and equipment as directed, including coils, blowers, and filters.
Assisting in lifting, positioning, and securing materials and equipment.
Following safety protocols, assisting with job site cleanup, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness to work in environments exposed to dust, fumes, noise, high-voltage equipment, and confined spaces such as attics and crawl ways.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Capable of lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems or mechanical/electrical skills is a plus but not required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Interest in the solar and renewable energy industry.
